The history of KARMAT Plant dates back to the 30's of the last century. At that time a family company dealing with manufacturing of metal products started its activity in Przybyszówka suburb of Rzeszów. As years passed, the company was developing and gaining importance on the market. At the end of the 70's the company specialized in production of polypropylene elements for sanitary systems.
Gaining significant share in the market of piping system articles resulted in the decision of modernization and unification of the company's image. It coincided in time with moving of production to new premises.
Since May 2001, KARMAT Sanitary Systems Production Plant has been running activity in the suburbs of Rzeszów in the neighbourhood of the E-4 main transit road.

KARMAT Sanitary Systems Production Plant manufactures complete sets of elements for sanitary drainage, including floor drains and sewer traps, as well as an innovative system of universal drainage pipe fittings. Quality of manufacturing of elements and modernity of design solutions are the subject of continuous care of the owners and employees of the Plant.
KARMAT has its own design team and makes its own moulds for injection moulding machines.

Application of polypropylene, atoxic material, durable and safe for people, is a mark of care for natural environment. For the same reasons a modern sewage-treatment plant, made by SOTRALENTZ, French company, was located next to the new plant there. The Plant does not emit toxic substances to the atmosphere. Production waste materials are recycled in 100%, and water used for cooling the equipment circulates in closed cycle.
